Michelle Kuhtenia, CPA

Michelle graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and started her professional career with one of the Big Four public accounting firms. She worked in public accounting for nine years, and after taking several years off to stay home with her three children, started ClearGuide Financial and Tax Services.

As an experienced CPA, Michelle founded ClearGuide Financial & Tax Services with a passion and commitment to help clients on a personal and practical level with their tax and personal finances. 

Michelle provides financial services, retirement planning, and tax preparation services for individuals and small businesses. She firmly believes in the benefits of utilizing her tax knowledge to help her clients achieve their financial goals in a tax smart way.

In her community, Michelle serves as a board member on the Sunbury Big Walnut Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors as well as board member and Treasurer of the Destination Delaware County Convention & Visitor’s Bureau Board of Trustees. Michelle is a member of the Ohio Society of CPA’s (OSCPA) and participates as a member of the OSCPA Women’s Initiatives Committee. She is also a member of the American Institute of CPA’s.

Michelle, and her husband, David reside in Galena, OH along with their three children and dog, Bexley. Michelle and David continue to stay active in their local community and church including beginning a new effort as team leads for a startup extension campus of their home church.  Over the years, Michelle has also volunteered at her children’s schools and served on various school PTO boards including the roles of Treasurer and President.

Michelle is a former hockey mom and fan of the Columbus Blue Jackets - Go Jackets! She enjoys staying fit, spending time with family and friends, trying new restaurants, traveling (especially to the beach) reading and, when time permits, doing a little hiking with David. One of her favorite places to visit is the Great Sand Dunes National Park & Preserve in southern Colorado, home to the largest sand dunes in North America!
